Besides the wonderful scenery, the main reason people visit Les Lindarets is because of the delightful inhabitants: a large herd of inquisitive goats. They will greet you as you walk into the village, wander on the roads, graze in the pastures and amble along the main street. The goats are friendly and eager for treats so, whilst you can admire.

Lindarets Tourism. Despite the interest of tourists, the small village has remained an idyllic mountain village with narrow streets and authentic chalets. All kinds of goat-related products are sold in the village such as goatskins, goat milk, goat cheese and much more. There are nice souvenir shops who offer their products and cozy restaurants.

Summer Timetable. The Balad'Aulps buses run along the Aulps valley, connecting Avoriaz, Morzine, Les Gets, Montriond, Essert Romand, St Jean d'Aulps, Le Biot and Le Jotty. Quaint little village where the main attraction are goats, lots and lots of goats. The village is only two or three streets and teeming with goats. You can buy some goat treats, but since the goats are not afraid of humans at all, you can easily pet them without those treats. Les Lindarets is a nice place to visit with children, but be warned.

The village is very touristic but enjoyable! During late spring and summer it is easily reachable from the Swiss side by a combination of walking and taking 2 chairlifts. From Les Crosets, take the chairlift to Mossettes, then down to the French side with another one. At the bottom you get to see the Cascade Des Brochaux, which is a nice.

Getting to and from the two gondolas couldn't be easier with the use of Le Petit Train . It's a free shuttle service running from 8:45am until 5:30pm, which transports you from the foot of SuperMorzine gondola directly to the bottom of the Pleney gondola, clearly marked with signposts so you can't miss the "departure" and "arrival" points.
